Wayfinding widget is an experimental feature that allows the user to get visual information about places or buildings, where the kiosk takes place.
Map:
Datasource: Datasource field allows you to choose the datasource you want to use.
Once you chosed the datasource, the EDIT DATASOURCE field will be clickable, then you can edit your datasource from the content.
Settings:
Minimap: Minimap is the smaller version of the original map. If enabled, it will show you the zoomed area of the original map. It only shows if the original map is interacted. (It will be shown on the bottom of the left, but the position can be modified.)
Default level: If your JSON contains multiple levels, you can specify a default level to which the widget will reset when needed. If you leave the default level field empty, but have defined a default level within your JSON, that specified level will be used as the default. However, if you haven't defined a default level in your JSON, the widget will fallback to the first level of the JSON structure.
Marker: Markers indicate where the popups will shown. There are several options you can choose as indicator.
Location action:
Default: If you choose the default option, it will do as you defined inside the JSON.
Set all to tooltip: If you choose this option, does not matter what you defined inside the JSON, everything will be enabled (zoom, tooltip, etc)
Set all to none: If you choose this option, does not matter what you defined inside the JSON, everything will be disabled (zoom, tooltip, etc) This option equals with "action": "none".
Sidebar:
Sidebar allows you to choose directly from the JSON.
Widget wide: If Widget wide is enabled, the sidebar will cover the whole widget, and the map will disappear. Best to use it if you want to separate the map and the sidebar into 2 individual widgets.
Size ratio: If Widget wide is disabled, you can change the size ratio.
Sidebar toggle: When you use the same widget as a map and a sidebar, you can make the sidebar hideable with this button.
Thumbholder: If you enable this option, you will see the thumbnails you previously inserted into the JSON next to the location information. In you did not defined thumbnails inside the JSON, then the first 3 letters will be appear.
Search: Search allows you to search and filter directly in the JSON.
Search in description: Type and Search option, allows you to search in description.
Highlight search: Highlights you the results according to the search bar you filled.
Zoom settings:
Zoom buttons: Enable zoom in and zoom out buttons.
Clear zoom button: Enable to reset zoom level to default.
Close tooltip when zoomed out: Closes the open location tooltip when zoomed out.
Zoom out after closing a tooltip: Zoom out after closing a tooltip.
Zoom margin: Map margin value when the map is zoomed in.
Max zoom scale: Maximize the zoom value. The datasource has higher priority and overwrites it.
Wayfinding settings:
Show wayfinding panel: If you disable it, the wayfinding panel will be hidden.
Open by default: If you disable it, the wayfinding panel will be hidden until the user click on it.
Static start location ID: If you wish to define a start location, you have to write here the location's id from the JSON.
